Hello,
I am trying to edit my website and to set a slideshow instead of having a single image on the homepage. I have downloaded the jf slideshow module extension, but I am having some issues with it: as far as I understand, every menu has to have an article in it in order to work, so when I first created the website I created an article to be associated with my homepage menu, just wrote a few words in it and made them white, so it is virtually invisible, as I actually only wanted an image taking the whole of the homepage. This is how I had my image module working on my homepage so far. But now, when I set the slideshow module it applies only to the background of the article, instead of taking the place of the single image, so it results in a tiny strip underneath the image, which is where the 'hidden' article is. Instead, I would like to obtain the same effect as the one shown in the template demo.
I am an amateur, and don't really have an understanding of how a website works in terms of code and structure, I can mainly work with the graphic interface, and I don't seem to be able to make the slideshow work just with that.
Also, I see that the template comes with jf Slideshow support, so it might be that I don't need the additional module at all and there is an integrated way of doing it...
Any direction would be really appreciated!
Thank you very much.
