TOPIC: Articles and modules in the home page not shown

Articles and modules in the home page not shown 18 Mar 2014 15:10 #4285

Hi guys,

as written in the subject I'm not able to add any module in the home page, on the position c-bottom1, 2 and 3 and the articles are not shown as well (only in the home page).

I checked some previous post in the forum, but I didn't find the solution for me. I installed the whole thing by the quickstart and the Joomla version is 2.5.8

Any help? Thank you in advance for your support

Same problem for me.
Running through this forum, I found beginning of solution:
www.joomfreak.com/forum/categories/jooml...article-in-home.html

and
www.joomfreak.com/forum/categories/jooml...t-show-articles.html

I identified that default menu is the one where articles are not displayed.
So i changed index.php that way:
This image is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it.

I discarded the test $menu->getactive() versus $menu->getDefault()

It works now.

Please can you post the exact code to replace instead of the image beacause I tried to substitute it but it doesn't work.

Many thanks
