Installed JFslideshow (Joomla 3.1.5) using the Calla Exteriors template.

When I go to module manager and create a new module, I choose JF Slideshow. Next I fill out the title and the position (slideshow). After that I try to save the module. However, it fails and constantly give me and error code "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE". I tried creating another type of module, which apparently saves normally.

Any help would be appreciated.

have you downloaded right version, have you probably installed module for 2.5 version?

I am sure I did install the correct version (filename: mod_jfslideshow-j30)

But the way; Although I am not sure this is related: When chosing a Module Type, JF Slide is in the list
like this:

Actually had already found that link on the internet. No luck however. It did not solve the issue.
Looking in the XML file of the module I see version="2.5". Name of the zip file is mod_jfslideshow-j30.zip. Is that ok?

You can try to edit this, but i think that don't must be a problem.

Also struggling on this error, any suggestions yet? Can't save the module and so it's not usable.

First it works ok, after further development of the website the error comes up. It looks like this came up after installing and using Admin-tools.
