We can't really remember when this idea of doing a Joomla! tribute song came up. But we remember being quite enthusiastic when doing the brainstorming for it. So what came out is a catchy easy-listening tune with some lyrics that should transport the feeling we live, when we are working with the best Open Source CMS in the galaxis, Joomla!
In collaboration with Open Source Matters, with Daniel Rothman, a young yet highly professional digital music producer from Denmark, and his friends we developed this kind of jingle song, which you can now listen to on our Soundcloud or Youtube channel. Also: feel free to download from the download area and put it on your personal music device. This is a song for every joomfreak and Joomla! user, so be sure to share it with your friends, Joomla! developer mates and even your clients :)

Lyrics "Share A Piece Of You"
We are gonna make it together
Fly away embracing the cloud
Easy like a breeze on a feather
getting on, keep moving into the light
[Pre-Chorus]
If you take the first step, I'll take the next
If you make the layout, I'll write the text
If you start a fire, I'll put it out
Together we can go to places yet to be found
[Chorus]
Freedom (Joomla, Joomla!)
Freedom (Joomla, Joomla!)
To be whatever you want to be, yeah
To do whatever you want to do, yeah
Freedom (Joomla, Joomla!)
Freedom (Joomla, Joomla!)
There are so many ways to share a piece of you
[Bridge]
Flip and chop
Drag and drop
You won't stop until you reach the top
Pick and choose
Click and use
You'll be on your way
[Chorus]
Freedom (Joomla, Joomla!)
Freedom (Joomla, Joomla!)
To be whatever you want to be, yeah
To do whatever you want to do, yeah
Freedom (Joomla, Joomla!)
Freedom (Joomla, Joomla!)
There are so many ways to share a piece of you.
