As someone completely new to constructing a website, I am attempting to put texturia up. I have a couple of basic questions 1. Do I have to have Joomla installed on my Pc or on the website first and secondly do I need anything other than the downloaded texturia quickstart files such as calla exteriors?
hope someone can give me some simple answers, i'm using cute ftp to transfer files and that seems pretty simple.

Further to my earlier post, I have uploaded all the files from jf texturia quickstart. Then using my browser gone to the installation folder where all it does is give me the index. I can't find configuration.php. where am i going wrong?

Ok,I've spent hours uploading and deleting and uploading again, checking instructions and versions and looking for tips and hints. I think I'm nearly ready to get it right!I am confused about the database. How do I construct it and where do I put it. does it have to be put together on the PC and uploaded, is it necessary if you are using the Quickstart versions?
