TOPIC: recovery problem

I am an absolute newbie to Joomla and templates. I've read a lot of newbie type tutorials and managed at last to install joomla and change the sample templates. I then moved up to install Jf Vihrea with some success and then I put up my first article (still in the practice stage) . Closed down, went away, came back and noticed no admin link! In fact no links at all... how do i get back to the admin and cp. I know its probably something I've done, i'd just like to find out what i've done
