I figured out how to use Introtext word limit - but it doesn't works on homepage, just in category pages. + a little bug that let's SIG show the whole gallery when you don't have enough words in your item (i am planning to fix this with SIG pro).
I also have some trouble with the width argument - it seems to me that the only values that work are 2 and 4 (1 is to narrow and 3 does the same as 2 - strange ^^). However i am close to finishing - i attach a little photo of the result - really a great template and not so difficult to integrate for a no programmer ! Thanks for your answer m.freak
