TOPIC: configuration.php destroyed?

configuration.php destroyed? 05 May 2013 09:21 #2050

Hi,

I just changed the configuration.php from the zip-file at the computer and uploaded it onto my server (only change the email adress in it). After I did that, my website shows an error: Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL.

bhv-fotos.de/quickstart/

can you help and explain me why?

Did not save a copy

Would be great, if you could help me!

Greetings

Jan

Hi, you cannot use the configuration.php of the quickstart on your fresh installed joomfreak Template lol. How should that work??? In the configuration.php of joomfreak quickstart there is the database information of THAT database, so for your template website you have to insert YOUR database configuration.

I think you did not install the quickstart, and did not check the manual.
Please check how to install a Joomla Quickstart package, there are a lot of additional explanations out there on joomla.org!
