my company loved the layout of this template and wanted to use the quickstart version. however it destroys my 3.2 installation and turns it into a 3.0 installation. this has created so many problems since there is a fatal flaw with updating to 3.2 which no one seems to be able to solve. some of the extensions we need to use are rendered useless by going back to 3.0 (nonumber's menu manager for example). a clean install of 3.2 bypasses all the errors created by an upgrade, but then i lose use of sigpro as well as all the k2 settings used to create vihrea.

i know it alot to ask, but could you throw us a bone and use joomla 3.2 as your base for the installation?

Hi, have you alredy installed and setup this template on 3.0? If yes, then is needed only a exact upgrade from 3.0 to 3.2, the errors what you see are exactly to analyze.

i started with a 3.2 installation, and when i followed the directions for quickstart, the akeeba backup took my site back to a 3.0 installation. any attempt to upgrade from 3.0 results in a useless website.

joomla has a fatal error going on when you upgrade from 3.0 to anything higher. it is something they haven't been able to solve. even if you have a fresh install of 3.2, installing your quickstart package will destroy 3.2 and install 3.0 instead. your customers are then told that they need to upgrade to 3.1 or 3.2 which launches the fatal error.

if you have a working copy of JF-VIHREA that is using 3.2, it would be beneficial to you as well as your customers to use it as your akeeba reinstall point. if you have gotten your quickstart version to accept a 3.2 upgrade without destroying the site, i am certain many people would love to know how, myself included.

i have not tried to install on a 3.0 site because joomla has no download available for 3.0. they got rid of any links to it.
