hi
i followed instructions to display the front page using the extra field group width, which has the extra field width in it: all works fine.
now i need more extra fields to add to the width group (i can't associate more than one extra field group to the same item category right?), and i have problems!

i can't add a text type extra field cause then i've error adding items and the front page display don't work well anymore (even giving width2 or width4 as value the images display bad, not as big as before...).

anybody can help?

Can you take some screenshot in backend and front end.

pag 1: from backend: category is "nuova immagine" for which associated extra field group is "width"

pag 2: from backend: extra field is "width", in the homonymous group "width".
now that field is the only one in that group

pag 3: from backend: item is "imfreenow", extra field width is set to "width4"

pagg 4,5: from backend: menu item is "home"

pag 6: from frontend: home page result: nice!

pag 7: from backend: i add extra field "descrizione" to the width group

pag 8: from backend: i fill extra field descrizione text area with "prova!" or whatever...

pag 9: from frontend: here's the result: imfreenow image shrinks.

i need many extra field for that category, i started to work on submit form etc... but i don't want to "sacrifice" the home page!!!

any help, suggestion???

for you more expert then me: when i inspect element of the shrinked image i get this:

<div class="itemContainer prova! nuova immagine isotope-item" style="width: 496px; position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px; -webkit-transform: translate(496px, 350px);">

then if i chanke the extra field value from "prova!" to "width4 prova!" i get this

<div class="itemContainer width4 prova! nuova immagine isotope-item" style="width: 496px; position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px; -webkit-transform: translate(496px, 350px);">

and it's fine

so can we fix this by giving default value for every text type extgra field width4?
then i just need to hide that default value on the front end submit form: is that possible?

please help!!!
