TOPIC: Frontend Item edit

Frontend Item edit 15 Mar 2017 08:12 #10060

Hello Joomfreak
If you enable the items edit does not work.
While if I add a menu Item edit form Can I add new items .
But I have to set a different template.
I think it is a template problem, because with a standard installation of joomla with K2.
everything works correctly but when I change the template with jf The Hub I see the edit buttons but it only white screen appears with chrome and appears black screen with Mozilla.

Best regards

Roberto

Hello,
Try to edit file templates/jf_thehub/component.php, modify:

<body class="contentpane modal">
...
</body>

to:

<body class="contentpane">
...
</body>

And edit file templates/jf_thehub/css/template.css, modify:

#header {
...
z-index: 5000;
}

to:

#header {
...
z-index: 1000;
}

Thank you for using our template!

Hello

Thanks for great help -

Now Edit and new item work well!!

But i have a problem with k2
With SAVE button ,after the change, or after a new item, appears the error "0 The File Cache Storage is not supported on this platform."
And the window does not close.
Also from back end when you delete an iten i see the error.
In the general settings the cache is disabled.

Tanks in advance

Check 2 folders 'administrator/cache" and the folder "cache". Those folders need to be made it writable.

Hello Joomfreak
Thank you again
Those folders have write permissions, but the path to the file configuration.php was incorrect.
I changed the files and I deleted the error
