Slideshow help 23 Apr 2012 23:27 #105

Hi there

First of all I'd like to thank you for this great template!

I'm very much a newcomer to Joomla (this is my first site I'm creating) so I'm fairly confident this my own incompetence for creating this error. However, when I load up the slideshow in the slideshow position it seems to overlay with a much larger box (which you might be able to make out from the screenshot below). This then overlaps onto my main menu bar meaning none of these buttons can be accessed.

Any ideas what might I've caused this? As I said, I'm sure its something I've done in my ignorance but any advice would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Mike

Hi again

Just been playing around again with the slideshow, I just wondered if I did want the slideshow module slightly narrower (in height) how would I go about it?

Changing the height in the module setting causes the error above so I'm presuming I'd also need to play around the positioning in the template settings also?

Re: Slideshow help 27 Apr 2012 02:20 #164

this slideshow is fixed height because its design is special a bit.

Hi,

Nice template indeed!!! I had exactly the same problem as the guy who started this topic, and I followed the instructions that he received. It works PERFECT in IE, but NOT in Firefox. In FF the slideshow is all black.

Any Idea why?
