TOPIC: Background color & erasing site name in content

Background color & erasing site name in content 23 May 2012 04:57 #371

Hello helpful people!

I'm having two issues I need advice on.

First one:
I'm trying to change the white background, whilst keeping the idea of a shaded tone of colors, is it possible? Is it a CSS neutral white color?

Second one:
On the content (just on top of the articles) there is the name of my site and two lines for separation... Is it possible to erase this? I've tried erasing the site name, but it keeps the lines anyway, like there's something supposed to be there.
EDIT: This one solved. In fact, I just needed to head to the main menu and go in the system parameters and deactivate the "show title" option... Yay!

Thanks a lot for your support.

For #1: you can go to templates/jf_texturia/css/templates.css find line 53:
#jf-body {
background: url("../images/jf_body.png") repeat-x scroll left top #F6F6F6;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}
If you want change background color, you can replace #f6f6f6.
jf_body.png is top orange line.
For #2: you are right! --> deactivate the "show title".

Hello, I'm having two new problems after changing the background color.

Basically there are some white in the back of the slideshow and menu buttons and I have no idea how to change that;;
I think it'll be easier to understand with a screenshot, so I'll just point arrows on them.

Thanks again for your precious help!

I think you have to use photoshop to change images :
modules/mod_btslideshow/assets/skitter/images/jf_slideshow.png
templates/jf_texturia/images/jf_menu_item_right.jpg
templates/jf_texturia/images/jf_menu_item_left.jpg
