Re: editing JF Relaxo 26 Jun 2012 03:18 #548

Hi
i also use joomla 2.5 and those folders doesn't exist! i thought the template is 2.5 compatible (which i am sure it is)
I read on another site that it should use mod_backgroundslideshow. i couldn't find that module anywhere on the net!
P.S. I also created those folders but it didn't work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

I'm using Joomla 2.5.6 and I also didn't have background slideshow.
Here's what I did to make it work:

  1. make sure you have installed the mod_backgroundslideshow (donwload from the joomfreak page). You might first have to activated it under extensions/modules
  2. create a folder (e.g. slides) under content/media in the backend. copy your background images there.
  3. now open the properties under extensions/modules for bt background slideshow by clicking on it.
  4. under basic options on the right set folder images/slides (or how ever you called your folder at step 2.)
  5. Then on the left you have to assign the module to a position. I choosed "lang", not sure if it was intended for that, but anyhow it works as it should.
  6. On the bottom, make sure to assign the module to all pages/menupoints

Hope that's works for some of you too.
