I don't know why, but I can only show the slideshow module.
I tried it with {loadposition slideshow} in the article, but it doesn't work either.
Now I have a question: Does it care if I create the article with Joomla or with K2?

Hi, you have to create category & articles first.
After this you need to create menu item to this category / articles.
After this you can check layout.
It should work both joomla core articles & k2 (but porfolio works only in k2 with isotope function).

I have the same problem. I'm trying this on the quickstart package in case I messed up something on my manual install.

I'm setting the home menu item to show a single article, on the quickstart " the latest blog article title".

I'm setting the "Disable Frontpage Component" to No yet nothing shows.

What should I do. Again this is on your quickstart package
