TOPIC: Problem with Menu Functionality on a small screen

Problem with Menu Functionality on a small screen 13 Jun 2014 14:12 #4891

Dear all,

thank you for the amazing template. It is very great. First of all I would like to say that I do not work with the quickstart template. Normally I try to understand the templates and customize the template. But I didn't change anything for the menu functionallity.

I have a problem with the menu functionality on the small screen which is optimezed for mobil phones. In this screen the menu is combined in one line. So the user have the possibilty to click on this line and the menu will be shown in a list format. If I open the page new with the Home site, this menu list will not pop up as a list. That means that the click on this menu line has no impact.

Now you can say that some generally is wrong with menu, but I found out that this functionality doesn't only work on the home site. If the user tried to use the menu functionallity on a other menu item it works fine. So the user can choose the home item in the menu list and will navigate back to home. If the user try to open the menu list in this home site, it doesn't work again.

I hope you understand, what I mean. Unforunately I have only a local version installed.

Thanks for your support and best regards,
J. W.

Hi all,

I analyzed this issue again. The problem occurs if the JF Slideshow is activated. If I change the JF Slideshow to a other menu item, the menu list functionality doesn't work on the corresponding menu page.

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks and best regards,
J. M.
