TOPIC: How to change logo? (Never mind, figured it out)

How to change logo? (Never mind, figured it out) 11 Sep 2014 10:01 #5440

Hello, new Joomla user here!
I'm slowly figuring out how things work through the use of Google and trial-and-error.

What I can't figure out is how to change the logo. I know there must be something silly I'm missing?

Also, on article pages like this, how would I remove things such as "Print", "Written by Super User", etc.? Since I'm mainly using this as a portfolio site for my own things, I don't really think I need to specify who it was that created the article. This may be useful in the future when I create a community blog, but for this one, I'm mostly just learning and I'm only going to use it for myself. Will I have to go into the template files themselves? Found it!

Thank you so much for your help! I can't wait until this whole thing is filled up and running beautifully. I can't wait to share it. As soon as everything is checked out I'll likely buy a premium version of this template.

Edit: One more thing, in gallery view (example, if you press click "artwork") is it possible to make it so that when the viewer clicks the image, it will take them to the article, rather than having to click on the title? This would be really helpful. Thank you!

Ended up figuring everything out myself in really odd ways. Maybe there are easier ways but... it works now, so I guess that's good enough.
