How can I assign an item id to a contact form? 24 Jun 2019 15:47 #11628

Hello!

I was wondering if it is possible to assign an item's id to a contact form. For example, unregistered user is browsing the site and he wants to ask via email a specific question regarding a specific item.

I see it in two ways:
- either to edit "Email this link to a friend" to a contact form
- or to add a button which opens the contact us form and add the link of the item in the message body..

Can you help, please?

Hello,
You can use comment form at the bottom of item to send a question.

Yes, but I want to keep the comment form too and I cannot use it twice.

I managed it by adding some code in the following :

/templates/jf_creativia/html/com_k2/jf_creativia/item.php
/templates/jf_creativia/html/com_contact/contact/default_form.php
