TOPIC: Change First Page

Change First Page 20 May 2014 15:30 #4703

Hi there,

thanks for this great template, we really love it and we're going to buy a business license as soon as finished the page for our company.

I first have to say, that it's my first joomla project, so my question may be very simple to you.

I wanna change the first page with the slideshow.
I just want to add a "simple textfield" under the slideshow, where I can write some welcome words...
How can I do this? Where can I edit the layout of this page?

Thanks a lot...
Patrick

Hi,

thank you very much, it's close to what I want.

Well, now it's like in your last screenshot, a little bit to far on the left side.

So, is it possible to put a standard page in this position.
I want "Welcome" as h1 on the left side in the vertical, a pic and some text. All in the middle section. Like a blog page.

Thank you
Patrick
