a few questions from a beginner.

I found some troubles changing the templates/jf_creativia/images/core/starting-page-logo.png into my own logo. How can I do this?

What are the positionnames of the articles on the blog page?

Were can i get the correct plugins for my portfoliopage? The downloaded Isoptope Metafizzy is missing the xml.

How do i know which K2 component i can use for the portfolio?

I think the best way for you is:

1. download and install quickstart packages: www.joomfreak.com/free-downloads/free-te...mla/quickstarts.html
2. see configuration
3. try to configure your website like demo site or edit quickstart on your needs

Isotope is already implemented, if you have installed only template, then you need to download k2 and install it...

what if we already have an existing site and want to use this template? installing the quickstart package will over write everything on the existing site? correct?

what solutions/resources are available to those who dont want to use the quickstart?

for instance, i'm having trouble figuring out how to get the social, copyright modules to populate from the fields in the template configuration page... jf slideshow is also not displaying images correctly.

You should install quickstart as testpage, only to see how is something configured. This is the way how to edit something what already exist. Quickstart is complete joomla installation, not only template. You must try also to understand joomla.
