Portfolio listing doesn't show titles on mobile? 19 May 2016 09:14 #8839

Hi.
As you can see on your demo page, when hovering the mouse over an item in portfolio listing using a DESKTOP system, a nice blue background pops up and white titles are shown to users so that they can understand the content of each item and choose what to read.
But if you load the portfolio listing in a MOBILE device, you just can't see the titles: titles are shown for a very short time only after you tap on an item and then the related page is loaded, so basically you can understand what an entry is about only when you have already tapped on it and loaded the page.
This is quite annoying, because on a mobile device you are forced to browse several items to get an idea of the whole content offered on the portfolio listing page.
Is there a way you can fix that?
For example, when on a mobile device the first tap makes the title pop up, so users can understand whether the item is of their interest or not, and the second (on the "read more" link) actually opens the item's page.
Very cool template, anyway

You can edit file templates/jf_couda/html/com_k2/portfolio/category_item.php, remove <a> tag inside tag:

<span class="catItemImage">
...
</span>
