TOPIC: Displaying quickstart files as web contents

Displaying quickstart files as web contents 22 Jul 2018 15:59 #11113

Hi moderator,

I have just downloaded jf cauda template and module. I also downloaded the quick start.
I have successfully unzipped the quick start and uploaded the extracts into a folder in a subdomain of my website using filezilla ftp client. but i can not access the content of that subdomain.

I manually activated the template and module in joomla cpanel. I couldn't still access the quickstart files.
Please how do I let my website display the quickstart files. And how can I change the contents.

My website is broadbandschools.bbtechnigeria.com.ng

Also the address and phone no icons do not display in the top info. The code in top-info module is:

<ul>

<li><span class="icon-location"><!--icon--></span> 16 Aratumi Road Iba New Site Ojo </li>

<li><span class="icon-phone"><!--icon--></span> +2348022726893 </li>

<li><span class="icon-envelope2"><!--icon--></span> This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it </li>

<li><span class="icon-skype"><!--icon--></span> ABBS </li>

</ul>

You may help with the code if there is a bug.

Thanks from rahman

You can unzip the quick start and uploaded the extracts into a folder in a subdomain, then install normal as you install joomla.

Can you please send me the super admin access via private message system?

Do you mean I should install quickstart.zip as I would install a normal plugin or module after uploading extracts to a folder in my sub-domain?

Ok, I will send log in detail in private message.

Thanks.

I mean, on your localhost, you create a folder such as /jf-couda/. Then unzip the quick start file to this folder. In your browser, visit this address: localhost/jf-couda. You'll see the the normal Joomla installation screen. So you install normal as Joomla.
