TOPIC: Which files to upload

Which files to upload 12 Aug 2014 22:33 #5309

Hi,

I have downloaded the gorgeous JF Calla template to use for my sisters new business. I have no experience of Joomla and have installed Joomla (one click install) on my webhost. The FTP falls over if I try and upload the quickstart zipped folders (the webhost can unzip).

The folder structure created with the one click install seem to match the folders in the quickstart download. I would assume I could just upload the required files within the folders but what files would i need to upload?

You'd better to use quickstart package for new joomla site. If you install only template you will have to manually config to make your site matched to the demo

Thanks for the response above...

It took a while but got the site running, I had to break the quickstart zip file down into many parts and upload. The upload size limit on my host FTP appears to be 3MB!!
