1) I have selectet a start Picture like in the Demo of the site. Now it has disappeared. How or where can I restore it.

2) Menu
The bigger Problem is the Menu:
I have activated a menu point on my page that shows the problem.
When you click on "Betty" with the mouse a submenu appears. But if I activate further menu items then these appear among themselves. By the white writing these are then no longer readable. How can I represent the subordinates next to each other?

Try to publish module in position "slideshow".

2) Menu

Try to edit templates/jf_calla-exteriors/css/template.css, at line 335 add:
