TOPIC: Slideshow position with Rotator modules

Slideshow position with Rotator modules 03 Jul 2013 19:09 #2337

Certain image rotater modules cause the slide show position to come closer to the other positions. In other words it collapses the template. I am making a website for my school's club and would like some help or suggestions.

The module I was using was ARI image slider in the position "LATEST" on this template. The "Slideshow" position should look like this:

But with the ARI image slider, or any other image slider, it looks like this:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe I may have identified the error. Any module that requires Jquery will mess up the page. I used a slideshow not requiring Jquery and all is fine. I would still like to know how to fix this problem.
Thank you

If you want to use a slideshow that uses jquery you have 2 options:
1) You debug javascript and fix it by yourself.
2) You ask professional support.

Sorry but we cannot help in any customization people want

I understand that customization is out of the realm of free support, but is it in this case? Any and all modules I've tested that use some sort of Jquery or javascript mess up the page, this seems like some coding error. I could be completely wrong, as I lack experience in this field, but my testing shows otherwise. I would gladly contact professional support, but I do not believe that this requires professional support, as the template itself has an issue. Sorry if I am completely off.
Thank you.
