First off, I'd like to thank you for providing this template for the public. It's providing a lot of people including me to a professional frame of reference for design.

My question is how to change the background image of the slideshow module. I have fixed the code that allows multiple pages to have the module, but I have not yet figured how to change the background image.

How to change the background image of the slideshow module? I suggest you choose Kvisoft... because it has the Flash Slideshow Theme Designer. You can change/design your slideshow template by yourself.

The only way that I have found to change the background is to modify the template:

pspreir thanks for that! I tried changing that in that File Manager from my hosting account and did not see any change. I assume something in Global Configuration needs to be adjusted such that the new upload image can show up. It's a wild guess, but I'm using pattern recognition.

IT WORKED. Everyone who is looking to change the background image. Go to your hosting account, use your FTP platform. Go to templates/jf_calla-exteriors/images/banner.jpg , replace the banner.jpg with your own picture. Make sure the type of file is JPG so that it functions.


For some reason it was not working for me, and I just tried a couple of times again. Try logging in and out of your accounts. Saving things multiple times and refreshing your web page. Also I assume that it takes more than a few minutes for it to show up. Be patient.
