Apologies if this is redundant - this thread got very confusing with all sorts of input (and I am very much a beginner) so I thought I would ask a (hopefully) simple question.

As with the first comment of this thread - I had ghosting issues with the footer on iPad/iPhone etc. I followed these steps:

Step 1:
Add to bottom of file: /templates/jf_call-exteriors/css/template.css


#jf-body {
background-color: #fff;
position: relative;
z-index: 9;
}

#jf-footer {
z-index: -1 !important;
}



Step 2:
Download attachment of this post and unzip this .zip folder, select your joomla version 2.5 or 3.0&3.1 and replace index.php into: /templates/jf_call-exteriors/

Attachments: Attachment jf_call-ex...date.zip (6KB)"


It worked! The ghosting is GONE! I was so happy until I realized that my social media buttons on the footer no longer work (they are not clickable). Does anyone know how I would go about fixing them?

problem with footer on Ipad is not solved!!!! social do not work!!!!

if you apply only the css mods the ghost issue happens only when you scroll up from bottom, in the slideshow position.
I solved this way until an official fix comes out

Fixed.

In the index.php file that you download from this thread, you have to delete the "</div>" component before <div id="jf-footer"> component. It is unuseful, there is no <div id=something> component related.

Now it works on Ipad.
For the Iphone I cannot be sure.

Same solution as mine.
The only main difference between the original one and the one downloaded from this thread is that div.
You will notice a ghost effect only when you turn up to the ma in menu from bottom(footer)

hi guys! i did all the changes.

does anybody knows a good ipad simulator site? i used cybercrab.com but while working with this template i figured out that the screencheck on cybercrab shows me a working template and on ipad i see it with the bugs, that are described here in the forum. i wont buy an ipad just for checking templates and websites, so an good simulator site would be very helpful.
