TOPIC: Cant locate database file

Cant locate database file 13 Feb 2014 09:20 #3963

Hi there,

I built a Joomla website using the JF Calla Exteriors template on my local PC which is running Windows 8.1 and I used WAMPSERVER 2.4.

I have now uploaded the site contents to my hosting company but need to send them the database file. Problem is I cant find this file. Please let me know where the database file would be stored and what its file extension would be. Also, is it just one file or multiple?

Thanks,
Lindi

Hi, you need to login to your Wamp Server Php MyAdmin Page and export manually the database and send it to your host provider. Usually Login Wamp is:

localhost/phpmyadmin
Username: root
Password: (Blank - No password set)

Bye
