TOPIC: Breakthrough on visibality banner on iOS?

Breakthrough on visibality banner on iOS? 15 Apr 2014 21:10 #4504

I wanted to expand my website with multi background.
I copied the template, made a new category and a new mainmenu. Attached the template to the category and uploaded a new banner.jpg in the copiedtemplate/image folder.
Copied slideshow and set to new menu.
I realy don't know, but the menu isn't 100% transparent and complained (asking questions) about it in this forum.... But the banner is visible on iOS!

Maybe someone wants to comment?
Maybe a moderator or isupport got some inspiration now?

Love this template, and I have to get it to work on iOS!

Hi,
Menu only is transparent in homepage (body tag with class "home").

if ($menu->getActive() == $menu->getDefault($lang->getTag())) {
$bodyClass = ' home';
}
...
<body class="body<?php echo $bodyClass; ?>">

So, you can check Itemid to add class "home" for body tag in julianadorp page. Example:

if (JRequest::getVar('Itemid') == 120) {
$bodyClass = ' home';
}

Banner you can try here.

Thank you for using our template!
