Yip, nonr. plugin is activated - also tried { loadposition ... } but has the same result. In other modules (e.g. Custom HTML) there is an option to "Prepare Content - yes/no" which must be activated for { loadposition ... } to work. Is this possibly required for JF Slideshow to load modules in the description as well?

That slideshow probably does not run the descriptions/texts through the Joomla plugins, and loads it via ajax/javascript. Modules Anywhere (or any Joomla plugin for that matter) can not touch that content then. Ask the developers of that slideshow for support...
Any way the description could be run through Joomla plugins as mentioned above?
