TOPIC: JF Slideshow

JF Slideshow 23 Feb 2017 16:06 #9996

Hello everyone,im new to hist forum and also new to making websites, i have some basic html and css knowledge cause i took 2 courses, however i havent build anything of note, now i am giving joomla a try for a friend of mine, im still on a localhost, so i can screw up anything i want all the time.

So the question.

I am trying to use the jf slideshow module, but i cant seem to figure out how to use the url. i have tried both linking to a youtube url , wich gives me a video not found message over the youtube static. and otherwise i have tried using a .jpg file from my Content/Media file.

i have tried the localhost url (gave it a shot)
i have tried Media/achtergrond/hartjes.jpg
i have tried achtergrond/hartjes.jpg

i have tried a url from a website with a simmilar picture for testing purposes. all of this did not work.

what i have got however was a mysql table containing errors. but my knowledge of mysql isnt good enough to make anything usefull from it.

my joomla version is 3.6.5
my php version is 5.6 or 7.0 i have tried both and it didnt make a difference

i hope you guys can make anything of my help request, and ill keep searching while i wait a for a response

thanks in advance
