there is an option Extra Fields in Item view options in category listings when you edit a category. this option must be set to "Show"

Re: extra filed "width" 11 May 2013 09:14 #2066

I have come across an issue that I don't believe has been addressed...

I actually want to use the extra fields on my site for listing accommodation details like number of ensuite rooms, wi-fi, parking etc.

I have extra fields set to show on the frontend and have added a bit of css to hide the first extra field (width). When I add another field the width control of the category image stops working and the image shrinks to the default size?

Afraid this is beyond my expertise so any help would be gratefully received! Thanks, Steve

Ok, I've got it to work...

If the "width" field is the first in the hierarchy of extra fields the width function does not alter the size of the image as required. However, if you move it to the bottom of the list it does.

Changed div.itemExtraFields ul li:first-child { display:none; } to div.itemExtraFields ul li:last-child { display:none; } in my .css and the width field is again hidden on the frontend.

I am experiencing the same problem. I have gone through and done everything others have suggested, but I cannot seem to get the Extra Field "width" to work. my images are smaller than the originals, and are not being effected by "width2" or "width4".
