TOPIC: Remove / edit css on elements only on frontpage

Remove / edit css on elements only on frontpage 14 Nov 2014 15:12 #5788

Hey, and thanks a lot for this nice template.

I'm making a webpage and here I would like to remove the lines and back to top elements only on the frontpage. I've tryed making a custom class suffix only for the homepage and the adjustsments I do with the css (like changing font-size, color etc) works fine. However I cant seem to figure out how to manipulate the elements on the page part from this blog-featured class I've assigned my menu class suffix to.

As I said I'd like to remove left and top line from the frontpage, and preferably also the back to top button. So I wonder, how can this be done? I thought the class suffix I made for the menu item would work together with other divs and classes displayed on the frontpage. But as far as I can understand there must be something I've missed out in order to make it work.

Hope someone understand my issue:

To sum it up:

How to remove / edit css on specific elements (only) in the templates frontpage?

- Visible backtoTop
You should go to: templates/jf_creativia/css/template.css

Find .backToTop (line 1057)

add block code display:none;

- remove line
In file template.css
Find div.cholder-inner (line 171)
add block code display:none;

Thank you for the tip. However this doesnt really solve my issue. When I add display: none; on the div.cholder-inner, the whole article field disappears on all pages. Which is unerstandable. As I tryed to specify: I would like to change some parts of the layout only for the frontpage.

For this, I understand I could use something called menu class suffix. What I really havn't figured out, is how this works in practice.
