TOPIC: How do I get the contact form?

How do I get the contact form? 21 Nov 2014 01:40 #5828

Hi,
I'm quite new to Joomla (made this: www.taxiclette.be). I'm trying Calla Exteriors, and in the preview there's a Contact Form. I see in "/css/template.css" that there IS somehow a contact form. But I can't found any plugin or module to activate, or a component to configure.
What am I forgetting?

Greetings,

Jonathan

I found out
I have to make a contact, that's it

Now I still have some problems, specific to this template: when you try to fill out this form, you get an error there's no subject given. But there's no subject-field?! When I switch to the Creative template, I DO see the subject field.

Greetings!

Hi,
components>com_contact>models>forms>contact.xml line 23
remove

<field name="contact_subject"
type="text"
id="contact-emailmsg"
size="60"
description="COM_CONTACT_CONTACT_MESSAGE_SUBJECT_DESC"
label="COM_CONTACT_CONTACT_MESSAGE_SUBJECT_LABEL"
filter="string"
validate="contactemailsubject"
required="true"
/>
