TOPIC: Load module in Slideshow description

Load module in Slideshow description 13 Jan 2014 12:54 #3648

Hi - is there any way to load a module in the slideshow slide description (i.e. different module for each slide). Tried using nonumber.nl Modules Anywhere plugin, but the plugin code gets rendered as text and doesn't trigger?

Thanks in advance!

Have you activated this nonr. plugin? Otherwise try it with {loadmodule...}

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yip, nonr. plugin is activated - also tried { loadposition ... } but has the same result. In other modules (e.g. Custom HTML) there is an option to "Prepare Content - yes/no" which must be activated for { loadposition ... } to work. Is this possibly required for JF Slideshow to load modules in the description as well?

Received feedback from nonumber:
That slideshow probably does not run the descriptions/texts through the Joomla plugins, and loads it via ajax/javascript. Modules Anywhere (or any Joomla plugin for that matter) can not touch that content then. Ask the developers of that slideshow for support...

Any way the description could be run through Joomla plugins as mentioned above?
