I need to change the browser page title of the home page.

I checked all the links, but could not find any option for changing as the current title is not showing anywhere.

Hello,
Thank you for using our template. You should go to:
administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=items&menutype=mainmenu
and click home menu item and config same images

did just that, but the title provided, is not showing up. I tried changing the text, but it show sthe old one.

If I enable show page heading, it replaces the page title on the content, but the browser title remains unchanged

I still don't understand you want to change the title of browser. Follow us understand browser title is title page.
